Pengertian Present Continuous Tense

Present continuous tense ataupun
present progressive tense
yaitu rang kata kerja yang digunakan bagi menyatakan manuver yang medium berlanjut sekarang (present) alias tulang beragangan di perian depan (future). Karena dapat digunakan puas
present
alias
future, tense ini sering diiringi adverbial of time bagi memperjelasnya.

Rumus Present Continuous Tense

Present continuous tense dibentuk dengan auxiliary verb “be”, riil is/am/are – karena
present tense
(musim waktu ini),  dan present participle (-ing).

Is
digunakan pada subject positif
singular noun (seperti: Tita, book) dan
third person singular
pronoun (seperti: she, he, it);are
pada
berbagai ragam noun (sebagaimana: boys, men, books),
plural pronoun (seperti mana: we, they) dan
you; darurat
am
pada
I.

Umumnya
tense ini hanya terjadi pada gerakan riil dynamic atau action verb, tidak
stative verb. Mengapa sedemikian itu? karena secara umum sahaja
dynamic verb

continuous.

kalimat nyata (+)

S + be (am/is/are) + present participle (-ing)

• The ships
  are sailing.
  (Kapal-kapal itu sedang melaut.)

  (Engkau sedang tersenyum.)

kalimat negatif (-)

S + be (am/is/are) + not + present participle (-ing)

  (Kapal-kapal itu tidak menengah melaut.)

  smiling.
  (Dia tidak menengah mesem.)

kalimat interogatif (?)

be (am/is/are) + S + present participle (-ing)?

  (Apakah kapal-kapal itu sedang berlayar?)

  (Apakah kamu semenjana mesem?)

Fungsi dan Contoh Kalimat Present Continuous Tense

1. Present continuous tense
   untuk membicarakan suatu operasi yang sedang terjadi saat ini.
   Time expression (pesiaran waktu) yang dapat digunakan antara lain:
   • now
     (sekarang)
   • at the moment
     (saat ini)
   • over the holidays
     (selama masa kelepasan)

   Contoh Kalimat Present Continuous Tense

   • She
     is brushing
     the bathroom floor.
     (Dia sedang menyikat keramik kamar mandi.)
   • I‘m driving
     a car to Bandung now.
     (Saya sedang mengendarai mobil ke Bandung sekarang.)
   • He‘s learning
     English in order to be a great guide.
     (Dia sedang mempelajari bahasa Inggris agar menjadi pembawa wisata nan hebat.)
   • I‘m living
     with my sister at the moment.
     (Saya tinggal dengan saudara kuntum saya momen ini.)
2. Present continuous tense
   bakal membahas suatu susuk maupun perpindahan ke satu medan/kondisi. Proklamasi waktu yang dapat digunakan antara lain:
   • on Sunday
     (plong masa Ahad)
   • 
     at nine udara murni’clockon Sunday
     (puas pemukul sembilan hari Minggu)
   • next week/month
     (minggu/rembulan depan)
   • this month
     (bulan ini)

   Contoh Kalimat Present Continuous Tense

   • I’m spending
     my holiday on Kuta beach next month.
     (Saya madya menghabiskan cuti di pantai Kuta penutup wulan depan.)
   • You can’tepi langit call derita this night. I’m going to my best friend’s wedding.
     (Anda bukan dapat mengabari saya malam ini. Saya akan pergi ke pernikahan sahabat saya.)
   • The buses
     are arriving
     in an hour.
     (Bus-bus tersebut start n domestik suatu jam.)
   • I‘m moving
     to West Jakarta this month.
     (Saya pindah ke Jakarta Barat bulan ini.)
3. Present continuous tense
   untuk mendedahkan kerunsingan atas kampanye yang terjadi berulang bisa jadi.

     barking
     at me?
     (Mengapa cigak terlarang itu besar perut menggonggong sreg saya?)
   • I‘m getting
     sick of you always asking the same questions.
     (Saya mulai muak dengan sira yang cerbak menanyakan tanya-cak bertanya nan sama.)
   • My boss
     is
     always
     yelling
     at me and
     complaining
     about everything.
     (Atasan bosor makan meneriaki saya dan mengaduh tentang barang apa situasi.)
